Chinese adoption completes family

After five years of trying, a Rushville family was finally able to welcome a new addition to their family when they legally adopted a 4-year-old boy from Xiamen, in the Fujian province in China. The Armstrongs in Rushville recently welcomed 4-year-old Theo after he was matched with their family. With one look at the picture and the name, the family knew he’d be the perfect fit. “The name Theo has always been on my heart,” Amy Armstrong said. And, he was the ideal cuteness for his big sisters, Clara, 8, and Lilli, 11. “Their one stipulation was that he would have to have chubby cheeks,” Grant Armstrong said. “We saw the picture of him and he just had the chubbiest cheeks ever.” “We were all in love at that point,” Amy Armstrong said.
