Saddle Ridge plan up for adoption

CLINTON — The Clinton City Council on Tuesday is expected to adopt a resolution that would officially designate a portion of land in the western area of the city as an “urban renewal area.” The Saddle Ridge Urban Renewal Plan deals with a section of land directly west of South 18th Street and east of Mill Creek Parkway. Once approved, the plan calls for the area to house a 30-unit condominium subdivision, with construction being overseen by Construction Associates Development. Construction Associates Development is expected to invest about $6.3 million into the project, which also may also include the construction of new streets, street lighting, trails, water and sanitary sewer assistance, and storm water utilities.
