4 kids hit by a car near Monroe Elementary School; district says 1 in critical condition

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Four kids have been hospitalized after they were hit by a car on their way to school Thursday morning. The crash happened just after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Chelton and Pikes Peak, right next to Monroe Elementary School. A spokesperson with District 11 said three of the kids were siblings and the fourth a cousin. One of the children is in critical condition.
