Local police department warns parents after kids spotted on icy pond

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — There’s a lot of things to be concerned about when it comes to winter weather: Hypothermia; bad driving conditions; and blizzards, to name a few. But one local police department wants another issue thrust into the spotlight, immediately: the dangers of children or pets walking out on icy bodies of water.
